Mission Patch - SBRIS GEO-4 45th LCSS

Mission Patch issued by the 45th LCSS Support Squadron @ Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in support of SBRIS GEO-4.  Mission lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station flying aboard a United Space Alliance (ULA) Delta IV rocket to deliver the SBRIS GEO-4 satellite to a geosynchroneous orbit.  This is one of a series of Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Satellites (SBRIS).  Mission launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on 21 January 21, 2017 @ 19:42 ET.   Originally SBRIS GEO-3 was scheduled to fly but was replaced by GEO-4.   GEO-3 would fly a year later on 19 January 2018 also from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station aboard an Atlas V rocket.

TDRS-M Mission Patch

NASA TDRS-M Mission Patch. New NASA communications and relay satellite was launched on 18 August 2017 from Launch Complex 41, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida @ 08:29 am EDT aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V 401 rocket.  It will join the constellation of TDRS satellites already in orbit enhancing NASA's ability to communicate with the International Space Station.

This colorful patch is a stylized M made of the official state tree of Florida, the sabal palm.  Also depicted are the 5th Space Launch Squadron's 5 stars and the phalanx of rockets that appear on the 5th's official emblem.  On the right appears a reference to Florida's state flag.  The patch depicts a sunrise off the coast of Florida and is an anology to the rise of the TDRS mission.

On the lower half you will find the Launch Vehicles tail number (AV-074) along with the official "Atlas" rocket emblem.

Mission patch issued by the Air Force 45 Launch Support Squadron (45th LCSS) in support of the SBIRS GEO-3 mission.   ULA's Atlas V  401 Launch Vehicle successfully carried the satellite to geosynchronous orbit departing from Launch Complex 41 in Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida on Friday 19 January, 2018 at 7:48 PM ET.  This is the 4th in a series of Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Satellites (SBRIS).  the third satellite in the series (SBRIS GEO-4) was also launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on 21 January 2017.

Patch for the NASA Magnetospheric Multiscale Code 461 mission launched from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on 12 March 2015 10:44pm (2244).  This project is designed to investigate how the Sun's and the Earth's magnetic fields connect and disconnect transfering energy from one to the other.  (Magnetic Reconnection)  This "reconnection" affects our modern technological systems such as GPS, telecommunications networks and electrical power grids.   This spacecraft is the fourth launched of a constellation of 4. 

The patch represents the Atlas 421 vehicle used to place the spacecraft in orbit. The vehicles' tail number AV-053 is shown on the bottom.  The NASA text is shown on the left and the Atlas "A" represents ULA's efforts.  The 5 red stars respresent the 5th Space Launch Squadron efforts.  The 4 satellites that constitute the constellation are represented in the middle of the patch.
