Embroidered patch commemorating the first rollout of the Space Launch System (SLS) and Orion Capsule out to Kennedy Space Center's launch complex 39B for the Artemis Program's 1st Wet Rehearsal. The 11 hour journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to the pad occurred on 17 March 2022. During a 'Wet Rehearsal', the SLS will undergo all the operations and procedures expected during actual launch. These procedures include loading propellant onto the vehicle's tanks. Having successfully passed all tests, the SLS was rolled back into NASA's VAB to be prepared for flight.
