Apollo 15 25th Anniversary Patch

Embroidered patch issued to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 15 Lunar Mission.  Launched aboard a Saturn V rocket from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex 39A.  Mission duration: 26 July 1971 - 7 August 1971. 9th crewed mission for the Apollo Program.  4th mission to land men on the moon

Mission objectives: First use of the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), 3 lunar EVA's, place satellite in orbit.
