Official SpaceX IRIDIUM-7 mission patch. The successful launch occured on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 4:39am PDT from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. This is the seventh set of satellites in a series of 75 total satellites that SpaceX will launch for Iridium’s next generation global satellite constellation, Iridium® NEXT. The 10 satellites carried aboard this vehicle began deploying approx 1 hr after launch.
The Falcon9 booster landed safely on the "Just Read the Instructions" drone ship stationed off the coast of California.
