GPS IIF-8 Mission - SPICA Satellite Patch

This patch was issued to represent the payload on the GPS IIF-8 Mission which launched aboard an Atlas V - 401 rocket.  This is the 8th in a series of 12 missions to replace our current (and aging) constellation of GPS Satellites.  SPICA is the brightest star in the Virgo constellation, represented on the patch.  Also on the patch is the alligator representing the 45th LCSS - the Air Force Squadron tasked with supporting processing of the payload.
