Embroidered patch created for the surveying mission to Mars. Launched in 1996 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, the Pathfinder Lander acted as a base station for the Sojourner Rover, operating long after Sojourner's end of life. It lasted 12 times longer than expected sending valuable telemetry back to Earth
