Astronauts Gus Grissom and John Young make three Earth orbits on March 23, 1965, successfully testing the spacecraft systems. Grissom named the Gemini spacecraft "Molly Brown" but NASA refused to officially recognize the moniker. NOTE: This patch was designed long after the mission flew and was never approved by the astronauts. It is presented only as a souvenir of the mission.
