GPS IIF-10 Patch. Issued by the Launch Vehicle Support Squadron. This is the 10th in a series of 12 missions whose purpose is to replace the current (and aging) constellation of Global Positioning Satellites (GPS). The United Launch Alliance Atlas V 401 Launch Vehicle is scheduled to launch on July 15, 2015 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The Launch Vehicle tail number (AV-055) is represented along with 10 satellites in orbit. The scorpion represents this satellite, named Antares after the brightest star of the Scorpius Constellation (also sometimes referred to "the heart of the scorpion". The 5 red stars represent the 5th Support Launch Squadron.
