Apollo 9 25th Anniversary Patch

Embroidered patch issued to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 9 Mission.  This was the third (3rd) lunar flight and second (2nd) to launch aboard a Saturn V rocket from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex 39A.  Mission duration: 3 March - 13 March 1969.

Mission objectives were to test all components and procedures in preparation for the first moon landing.  It included a 37 minute.
