The Delta II is responsible for placing the first GPS Constellations in orbit among many others.

The patch for mission AV-049 shows the tail number inside the rocket that is formed by the letters "a" and "V". The symbols represent the Roman numeral II (2), Infinity and an "X". The "X" is commonly used in Spanish to designate the word "Por", or "for" in English. Together, the symbols read "To Infinity For Infinity.

Official patch for the NROL-44 Mission. The mission is scheduled to be launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida Launch Complex 37 aboard a Delta IV Heavy lift vehicle in September 2020.

The patch design is based off of the insignia of the American Volunteer Group (re-designated as the 14^th Air Force upon the US entry into World War II) popularly known as the Flying Tigers.  Prior to being rebranded as the SpOC, the 14^th Air Force saw, and continues to oversee, the day to day activities of U.S. military space operations, to include lift operations off the Eastern Range.  At the top left hand corner is a winged tiger, riding a lightning bolt, reaching towards the insignia for the mercury program, which successfully put the first American Astronaut into space.  Until 2018, when the unit was retired, both of these symbols were adopted by the 45^th Operations Support Squadron who shared mission responsibility with the 1^st Range Operations Squadron, which reverted back to its original designation as the 45^th Range Squadron when the two units were consolidated into one.

Official mission patch designed by the 45 RANS for the Mars 2020 Mission carrying the Perseverance Rover and Ingenuity helicopter to Mars.  The Mission launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida aboard a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket in the 551 configuration on July 30, 2020 at 7:50am ET with projected landing on Mars 18 February 2021. Landing site:  Jezero Crater.

Design description: Mars 2020: The four and five stars represent 45 RANS, the designers of the patch and the military squadron that conducts the vehicle and public launch safety operations for Cape Canaveral missions. Almost hidden but still found within the rolling colors of Mars are the memories of the previous Mars missions, for which the Perseverance and Ingenuity will follow. Also depicted are the trusted and well known NASA vector and worm, as well as the ancient symbol for Mars that sits between between “Mars” and “2020.” In the center sits an Atlas V rocket in its 541 configuration. And finally, in the  top right floats the white lotus. The white lotus is a symbol of something’s purity, regardless of origin. It signifies our potential for growth and success in spite of where we come from and the difficulties we face. It construes our perseverance in the face of adversity. It signifies a drive for enlightenment, for learning. It represents our missions to Mars as scientific endeavors for learning and the becoming the best parts of the human race.

Embroidered patch for the Orion Ascent Abort 2 mission.  This was the final launch abort system test for the Orion capsule.  The test was successfuly launched on 2 July 2019 aboard a modified Peacekeeper missile from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Launch Complex 46. The Orion mock-up test vehicle was subjected to maximum loads and the last test of the Launch Abort System (LAS) before a human mission.

Embroidered patch issued by the 5th SLS Support Group for the United Launch Alliance NROL-44 mission.  This mission launched aboard a Delta IV Heavy rocket from Space Launch Complex 37 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida on 11 December 2020.  The rocket carried the NROL-44 mission for the Natonal Reconnaissance Office (NRO).Launch of NROL-44 - Delta IV Heavy.

Embroidered patch issued by the 5th SLS Support Group for the United Launch Alliance NROL-101 mission launch aboard an Atlas V rocket from Launch Complex 41 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida on 13 November 2020.  The Atlas V rocket carried the NROL-1010 mission for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO.

This was the first launch of ULA's new GEM 63 solid rocket motors which they plan to use on their next generation vehicle, the Vulcan Centaur.  "This was the 86th launch of the Atlas V rocket and the 71st Atlas V to launch from the Space Launch Complex 41".
