GPS IIF- 10 Payload Patch - 45th LCSS Support Squadron

Patch issued by the 45th LCSS Support Squadron for mission launched aboard a United Launch Alliance (ULA) AtlasV-401 rocket to place the 10th in a series of 12 new GPS satellites in orbit.  The satellite is named Antares, after the brightest star in the Constellation Scorpius which is also ofter referred to "the heart of the scorpion" .  The Roman numeral 10 (X) refers to the 10th satellite in the constellation of 12 GPS satellites to be placed in orbit.   The star glows red just as it does to the naked eye in the night sky.
